I have SLE and, hone...I can relate to this as well. I have SLE and, honestly, he is the reason I get up every morning. I believe that this winter I would have been in a lot more pain(and the depression associated with it) if it hadn't been for him keeping me moving. We are in training now to be a therapy dog so we can pay those benefits forward. Having Austin has helped in that he gives me something to think and care about outside of the condition. I have cancer and wouldn't have made it through the horrible treatments without my animals by my side. They are such comfort to have around. Animals are some of the best medicine.
