As she grew, she would lick her surrounding, usually the wall as she would fall asleep: Lick, lick, lick... pause... lick, lick... (eyes dimming) ... lick lick lick... (eventually fall asleep).

She and her Yorkie "brother" would also run up and lick the shower curtain when I was in there. It was cute.

My 4mo old chi/dox puppies now also lick my ankles and calves when I stand in the kitchen, one more so than the other (one very much more and the other licks for a bit but stops).

I don't like licking in the face, so never have let them do that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647675683976633621.post-83578882256509985232012-07-26T15:45:36.117-07:002012-07-26T15:45:36.117-07:00My friends dog,Mimi is such a great licker she eve...My friends dog,Mimi is such a great licker she even licks my mom anklesOlivianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647675683976633621.post-58442561081582010552012-03-02T00:48:32.439-08:002012-03-02T00:48:32.439-08:00My 11 year old Pomapoo has always licked people t...My 11 year old Pomapoo has always licked people to the point you have to say stop, but every so often she gets obsessed with licking the furniture, rugs, curtains, bare floor, and even try's to pick apart and eat the rug if she can find a snag. She has gotten sick from gagging on the hair she licked off the rug or furniture. Could she be obsessive compulsive? How would the Vet know? Im afraid she will hurt herself eventually!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647675683976633621.post-82126310571030313752010-09-14T10:35:49.368-07:002010-09-14T10:35:49.368-07:00My puppy (4 months old) licks EVERYTHING. I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Thanks for the article!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07820438586089728534noreply@blogger.com
