One was already named when I got ...I have two dogs. One was already named when I got him but shrank back when his name was called. So I altered it slightly and he adapted quickly to his new name. I think it helped him in recovering from the abuse in his former home. At least he responded when called with less fear. He's doing great now, I'm happy to say.<br />My second dog is smaller but it was his personality that determined his name so his name is Caesar.
